My country is not listed here. Why not? Does this mean I'm not eligible to enter?
If your country is not listed here, it means your Land Rover market has not elected to participate in the 2008/09 Land Rover G4 Challenge. To be eligible to participate in the Challenge, you must be a citizen or lawful resident of the participating country you apply to represent. The participating countries may change in the future, so please ensure you register your contact details on the 'KEEP ME UPDATED' section of the website and we will keep you up-to-date with current news and future developments.
Is the competition free to enter?
Yes – there is no entry fee.
If selected, will I need to bring my own vehicle/equipment? What will I have to provide? What costs will I need to cover?
National Selections; your travel to/from your National Selections events will not be paid for by Land Rover. You will need to supply your own clothing. Vehicles/equipment will be supplied at no cost to competitors.
International Selections and the Challenge Finals; vehicles/equipment/clothing are provided at no cost to competitors. Subject to any limitations imposed by applicable local law, applicants will not be reimbursed for any loss of income incurred while attending any Land Rover G4 Challenge related activity.
How/when will I find out if my application has been successful?
If your application is successful, your national Land Rover market will contact you directly in 2008 via email. If unsuccessful, you will be notified by phone or regular mail.
When will I find out where the Challenge will take place?
More specific location details will be released in 2008. If registered on the site you will be kept up-to-date with the Challenge news via email.
How can I update my details if they change?
Please send your new details to webmaster@landroverG4challenge.com
You can save the form to your computer or another location either clicking the save icon (second icon left in the grey bar) or by selecting 'File' then 'Save As'
You can print the form by either clicking the print icon (first icon in the grey bar) or by selecting 'File' then 'Print'
I can't enter any of my information?
You must complete pages 5, 6, 7 and 8 and SUBMIT before completing the remainder of your application.
What does the security warning mean when I submit?
When you complete your application the form will be submitted over a secure internet connection. This warning message alerts you that you are making an internet connection with the following message;
The document is trying to connect to the site: If you trust the site click “Allow” otherwise click “Block”
You must select ‘Allow’ to submit your application.
What happens if I click "Block"?
If you’ve clicked "Block" when submitting your form then you’ll need to print and post your application form as the blocking a connection is permanent.
What does the Language Support Package message mean?
The application form is designed to accept a number of different languages. Acrobat will perform a check to ensure that you have all the necessary Language Support Packs installed in order to enter these languages by default.
If you don’t have the right Language Support Packs you will see the following message:
The Korean Support Package is required to display this page properly. Under the current configuration, this resource is not available.
Acrobat should automatically install the required Language Support Packs, but if this does not happen then follow the links below to download the Language Support Pack for your version of Acrobat

Why can I not upload my photograph on a Mac?
Some Mac users have been experiencing issues when trying to upload their photograph in the Application Form. If you are having trouble uploading your image, could you please save your completed form to your computer, and email this to webmaster@landroverg4challenge.com. Can you please also attach your photograph to the email.
When I try to open the form, Acrobat Reader opens, but the form freezes.
Due to the size and complexity of the Application Form, some internet connections are not able to load it correctly. If you are experiencing issues trying to open the form you will need to download a .zip version to your computer. Please use the link below:

What are the optimum system requirements for the site?

Why can I not enter text on the application form with my Mac?
If your Mac opens the PDF application form in Preview you will need to open up the form in Acrobat reader. You can download Acrobat reader from the "Apply Now" page.
